How we operate
We hold an Annual General Meeting, normally in May every year, which gives all members a chance to meet, hear reports on the previous year’s progress and to make their views known. There is usually an illustrated talk after the AGM on a topic relating to the park.
A committee of trustees is elected at the AGM to keep a watching brief on the park for the remainder of the year, to liaise with the Council and Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust with regard to conservation and other issues and to organise working parties. Members are kept in touch through emailed bulletins, a quarterly e-magazine, the website and social media.
Committee members:
Peter Jenkins: Chair
Alan Betts: Treasurer
Robert Barnes: Secretary, Membership and Volunteer Lead
Steve Jakeman: Council Liaison
Anna Brooks: Social Media, Photography
Alec Thomas: Park Life Editor and Bird Feeders
Kevin Blake: Website, IT, Photography
