Conservation Group

We will be running a conservation session on Saturday, 25th May to help remove invasive Orange Balsam from our local ecosystem.

Why is this important?
Orange Balsam is an aggressive non-native plant that outcompetes and smothers our native wildflowers and vegetation. This puts pressure on ecosystems, reducing biodiversity and disrupting the food chain. By removing it, we can help protect native plants, support wildlife, and improve biodiversity.

No experience needed—just enthusiasm!
Come along and make a real difference in preserving Cassiobury Park as a biodiverse nature reserve full of wildlife.

Long sleeves and trousers, gardening gloves, and wellies are required, if you have safety glasses bring them also. The session will be led by Alex Popple. Bring a drink and snack for the break if you wish.

Please do come along and help improve our lovely park.
