Projects

We undertake various projects that help to improve and maintain the park and nature reserve. Projects usually involve a level of funding as well as the involvement of volunteers.

Examples of projects supported by FoCP are boardwalks in the nature reserve, installing a defibrillator in Daisies Cafe, and tree planting.

Interpretive Signs

One of the main projects that we are currently undertaking is the creation of 10 interpretive signs for the nature reserve. These will contain information on the location, what animals and plants can be seen, the importance of biodiversity, and a QR code that links to more information. These are intended to increase the awareness of the nature reserve and its importance, as well as being an educational resource.
