Storm hits the Park
The exceptionally stormy night of 27/28 October left a trail of tree damage in the park . Many branches, large and small, were broken off and there was a spectacular fall of a large beech in the open area at the top of the hill. Perhaps, like people, we don’t always notice them fully until they are gone? But ‘Lonely Cedar’ is still standing.!
